Aaron Law's story is not unlike anyone else's. He was born on October 15th in a fairly small town that very few know and in a state that no one really thinks of. He was raised in a time where politeness, courtesy, and respect were paramount and taught at home.
His life was as normal as anyone's can be growing up in a small town. He was fairly popular and devoted to his family and school. He played for his high school football team as a linebacker. Some would have thought he would go on to play college football. But Aaron had other plans for his life.
See, one day during his senior year of high school, the armed forces came to the school during college/career day. After going through the motions as any senior does, visiting with the different schools and not knowing which one to choose. He went to the different booths that the Armed Forces set up. Not really thinking about it much, took each of their pamphlets, flyers, and literature.
Aaron went home that evening and went through all the papers he had gathered throughout the day, placing each one in different stacks. A stack for schools that he was interested in, a stack for schools that were interested in him. And of course a stack for the trash for schools either he didn't want to go to or didn't have any interest in.
And then he came to papers that he received from the different branches of the military. First was the Navy. At first he considered the thought then decided to toss that one as he really doesn't like the water much. Next came the Air Force and he quickly tossed that one too. The thought of him crammed in a cockpit, yeah no thanks. Then he came to the Army's pamphlet, he thought well maybe, he kind of liked the idea. After tossing away all the garbage pamphlets/papers and what not, he decided he was going to be to think about it.
Life went on as normal, Aaron woke up did his morning chores, ate breakfast, went to school, football practice, came home, did his evening chores and homework, ate dinner, washed up, went to bed. This went on until only the last couple weeks of school left and he really needed to decide what he was going to do after high school. The more he thought about it the more he made up his mind.
A day or two before graduation Aaron walked into the Army recruiting office and enlisted. Not much is known about Aaron's military career other than what he has been willing to share. It is unclear as to what happened during basic training, but according to the files Aaron was recruited to a special operations unit, known simply as "The Unit" right out of training. From there he completed several tours and missions with this unit, though most of the information in the files is blacked out due to the high level of security. It appears that he was part of several successful operations, and towards the end he was leading those operations. But the last operation listed, all it says is "Paragon City, no survivors.
But yet here is in the Dawn Patrol. Not the same Major Law, a few things are different. So the questions remain, what happened on that mission, how is he here? Only one man has those answers and that is the Major himself.
