*Codename: Crossing
*Legal Name: Courtney Cross
Preferred Name: Crossing
*Security Level: 16, but with a 50 alternate I don't really enjoy playing.
*Origin: Natural
*Archetype: Scrapper
*Primary Powers: Street Justice
*Secondary Powers: Willpower
Skills/Training: All Courtney knows is fighting and brute force. She can't pick locks. She can't operate a computer, and struggles with basic technology. She can punch, and she can shrug off punches. That's it.
Years as a Hero?:
14
Gender Identity: Woman
Preferred Pronouns: She/Her
Sexuality: Unknown. (As of right now, she's closer to ace than anything. It's not an aspect of her character that's been explored at all.)
Marital Status: Single
Date of Birth: 4/16/86
Apparent Age: Early 30s
Height: 6'4''
Weight: 190
Eye Color: Brown
Hair Color: Mostly black, but visibly starting to gray from stress.
Tattoos, Piercings, and Other Distinguishing Marks/Features:
Courtney's body is covered with the proof of a life of violence for a regular human, sporting scars, burn marks, and a few bullet wounds. She's missing a piece of her right ear near the very top.
Hometown: King's Row
*Current Residence: The Hollows (Various tunnels, no persistent address.)
Current Group Affiliations(s):
None
Occupation(s): Vigilante
__
Medical information
Species: Human
Blood type: B+
Medical conditions: High blood pressure, significant behavioral issues stemming from trauma, PTSD, depression, and isolation.
Sensitivities: A trigger for her more violent outbursts is the implication/reference that she's weak.
Medications Used:
STREET JUSTICE
_
Family & Friends
Emergency Contact: None
Parent(s):
Deceased
Sibling(s): One younger sister - estranged.
Known associates/Friends:
The closest thing Courtney has to friends are members of the Trolls, Warriors, Skulls, and other low level street gangs. It isn't a friendly relationship - she actively bullies and threatens them to provide information on the activities of their groups, and in return doesn't break their legs.

Biography: (Tell us a bit about the character’s history)
Courtney always had anger issues, even as a child. They went untreated all through high school, and she dropped out soon after her parents passed during the original Rikti Invasion. They weren't killed by the alien menace but rather just regular looters that took advantage of the chaos to rob regular people. Fresh on the street, Courtney did the only thing she knew how to do: rage. For years she served as an unlikely defender in places like King's Row, brutally beating Skulls and Hellions with her bare hands. Briefly, she found solace in the supergroup They Might Be Heroes - a group of oddball heroes that often took in the strange misfits of Paragon.
For a few short months, Courtney had friends. Maybe even something more. But that fell apart through no fault of theirs as she spun right back into her cycle of anger and violence. She left them behind not really even knowing why, and for the past decade or so she's only gotten worse. More isolated, more lonely, and more haunted by the knowledge that she will never, ever have anything worth actually fighting for.
Despite her anger, Courtney operates on a no-kill policy, which serves as her one saving grace as a somewhat moral hero. She'll rob, beat, break, and brutalize the villains of Paragon, but draws the line at taking a life. That said, she's unnecessarily rough. Her player is squeamish about blood, so none of her violent tirades are ever detailed. But a precursor search with the PPD would reveal that she's REALLY messed some people up in permanent ways.

Personality/Psychological Profile: (Tell us a bit about the character’s personality, beliefs, and mental state)
A lot of this is covered above in the Bio, so here's the most current glance.
At Presence: Courtney's been slowly breaking. Going gray, making mistakes, having mood swings that are unpredictable even for her. In the silence of the caves she sleeps in, it isn't uncommon for her to break into fits of uncontrollable sobbing, and she's suffocating under the weight of her loneliness. She's been flying solo for far, far too long, and now she doesn't know how to approach others or even if she deserves to. Deep in isolation and depression, some small part of her remembers what it was like to be a part of a group, and she's pushing herself to reclaim it again.
None of this would be open knowledge, of course, outside of the fact that she's very clearly suffering from some deep-seated behavioral issues and antisocial behavior.
