Biography: (Tell us a bit about the character’s history)
Madame Valentine was born in the beautiful city of Lyon, France. Her parents were happily married and for the early years of her childhood Maxine lived in a fantasy. At the age of eight, her father was mugged on his way home from work and tragically passed two days later from the injuries he had sustained. Thankfully, her family was able to live off of her father's will-- which she eventually used to pay her way through school and allowed her to invest on the ground floor of the now world famous Luscious, Lovely and Lively Skincare line. Years of success and a lifetime of lavishness went to her head, and the sweet child her father had nurtured had turned into a cold shrew. After a few too many drinks and ignoring the pleas of her coworkers, Valentine drove home from a Business party far too drunk to see straight, and halfway to her home she struck an elderly woman. Valentine rushed out of her car and saw the woman was still alive. Panic and fear sank into her bones and she fled the scene afraid of being caught.
As she drove away, the old woman cursed Maxine and the next morning she woke up changed. She now seeks to understand this change, and prays she can fill the hole of regret left in her heart from that night.

Valentine is constantly undergoing the process of re-discovering her old self. She is still processing the trauma of the Hit and Run and as a result is constantly on edge and is set off rather quick; however she is aware of this and is looking to learn to control her temper more. This aggressive exterior often keeps others at bay, but once her frigid heart warms to you, she is a loyal friend and is unrelenting in her support of you.
She has a taste for the lavish life and is not apologetic about it, and often times cannot understand the struggles that the less fortunate encounter. She is slightly classist, but it is rooted in her belief that those who want the finer life can have it if they work for it; even if that is not the truth.
Valentine does not actively practice any religion, but she has recently began learning tarot and studying the universe and its messages.
