Biography: (Tell us a bit about the character’s history)
John Vineberg was born in Atlus Park of paragon city with his powers, flight, regeneration, and his main offensive powers, electricity, focused in punches, being born to a middle class family he was able to go to the meta human learning facility, the acadamy of super-humans, where he learned like a normal child would but would spend all his grades, 1-12 were spent at the acadamy.
There he learned how to control his abilites safely, letting him learn how to control, direct and safely discharge his electricity attacks, it was also here that he met his life long hero, Statesman, hero of paragon city, who had come into the school during a massive presentation (think kids learning about fire safety and orginizations that fight wildfires) Statesman would talk about what it meant to be a hero, courage, selfnessnes, kindness, empthy, disipline, John hanged on his words and he wanted to be just like him.
through the school he was also able to get a job as an electricion, a perfect job for someone like him with his abilites, his job acomidates his work as a hero, knowing he would be on call to fight crime so there was no risk of job loss through the program.
It wasn't until Statesmans death that John at age 22 (now calling himself Lightening Rider) got serious in his crime fighting, the news struck him like a tank shell (or at least what he thought one would feel like) his hero defeated by lord arachnos, statesmans arch enemy, the heroes were suppose to win, but that timethey lost, badly.
So The Lightening Rider decided that he needed to spend more time fighting crime and less time fixing wiring, deciding to try and join one of the crime fighting orginizations to be able to fight crime without worrying about his living costs

Personality/Psychological Profile: (Tell us a bit about the character’s personality, beliefs, and mental state)
First off he beleives that all hereos should strive to be like Statesman, selfless, willing to face danger to defend others while also remaining focused and collected in battle.
He doesn't believe in a god or gods since there are people out there with what would be called god like abilities, yet they are just like everyone else otherwise, he doesn't care about poltical beleifs, people doing crime need to be stopped but that killing them is not the way to go, by killing them you forfit your ethnic code as a hero.
He likes to be optamistic about things, trying to find the good in situations and in people as well, willing to help when he can, though he will charge into problems thinking he's got the solution to early
He could be called chipper, using wite to try and cheer people up and smiling a lot.
As to his mental state he's healthy there though he does think faster then he speaks due to the faster firing of his synapses in his brain, other then that he is fine
